Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad
Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad has done Bachelor of Science BS (Hons) in Medical Laboratory Technology from Sheikh Fatima Institute of Nurses and Health Sciences, Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Punjab University Lahore. As a motivated graduate of social sciences. He has done M.A degree in Political Science from the University of Peshawar. After MA he has attended his post-graduate degree in the subject of Public Health from Abbottabad University of Science and Technology, Abbottabad. In the line of duty, he started his professional career at Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore as a trainee Medical Lab Technologist. He, later on, pursued his career as Medical Lab Technologist at Chughtai Lahore Lab, North West General Hospital and Research Centre Peshawar and Public Health Laboratories Division, National Institute of Health Islamabad (NIH) in different diagnostic departments. He has experience in dealing with advanced lab equipment like MALDI-TOF (Vitek MS), Vitek Compact II, PCR analyzer, CBC analyzer, Biochemistry analyzer.
During Covid-19, he had unfolded and provided his dedicated efforts against Covid-19 in the hard areas of Pakistan i.e Taftan Border District Chaghi, Gawadar, Chaman, Turbat, Punjkoor, Lasbela, Lahore, Mianwali, Dir Lower, Peshawar. He also attended and participated in a number of exercises pertaining to Public Health Care.
Currently, Mr. Ashfaq Ahmad is providing his service as Research Officer (RO) in the Public Health Laboratories Division at the National Institute of Health (NIH), Islamabad.
