National Institute of Health is the focal point for Antimicrobial Resistance Program. NIH has taken many initiatives to tackle the threat of AMR under the umbrella of AMR National Action Plan. Being part of NIH, I have been part of AMR awareness programs which include training programs, AMR Virtual Journal Club, AMR Newsletter, article competition, poster and video competition. In addition to that, I facilitated the trainings held for Point Prevalence Survey (PPS) conducted by NIH and subsequently contributed in PPS Report. Moreover, I am part of laboratory assessment program across the country for strengthening surveillance and data sharing among multiple stakeholders. I am looking forward for more contributions in AMR stewardship through the platform of National Institute of Health.
